Be still my heart...

Do you want to know a secret? I love, love, love, lovelovelovelove looking at simply elegant homes. Pictures of homes, decorated rooms in homes, blueprints, floorplans---if it is a nice home full of beautiful room set-ups and architecture, I just about swoon. I have spent too many hours to count sifting through house plans and decor, compiling what I like. I even have a notebook full of said plans and room aspects. Are you scared yet? Hee. My heart just flutters when a gorgeous house and its sprawling estate comes into my view! So, let's take a tour of a home today, shall we? Let's start small. We'll do it in a mtv: cribs sort of style...except with class? Hm, maybe more like Samantha Brown's 'Vacation Homes'. Yes, that will do.

We'll begin here, outside the home. Notice the colonial style with a hint of southern country.

The front entryway is two-storied and balconied. Gives a very open and airy feeling. Note: I love the coffered ceiling.

To the left might be the formal living room while to the right you'll find the formal dining room.

A powder room on the first floor. And the kitchen towards the back.
An office or work space will be set in a corner of the rear of the house and will perhaps open up to the back porch.

If you'll follow me upstairs...

The master bathroom (large of course) and the master bedroom. On your way out, make sure to stop and see the gorgeous shed used for planting and crafting! Ooh la la! Thanks for stopping by!
