Not your typical treehouse...

I was browsing the fabulous (though tres cher) site PoshTots when I happened upon these backyard splendors. I'll say this much, they make my childhood woodland castles (created from fallen tree trunks beside a stream and carefully laid rocks) very much left to the imagination.

A castle complete with a turret and secret entrances.

This Victorian play house has a wrap-around porch, a living room, kitchen, and loft.

You could practically sail away on this miniature ship.

I love the airy set up of this dining room but I really wanted to pinpoint the amazing striped yellow chairs! They are fabulous, no?

If I had an apron like this I might actually be tempted to step foot into the kitchen and cook something. Might.

It's Monday morning and this is making me happy.

So, as an addition to my previous post on outdoor rooms, I thought I would look around and find some individual items that you could use in your very own outdoor room!

I am in love with this gorgeous arrangement of seating. It is comfortable and classy!
Ooh, and add in this lovely lounger!

This chandelier would be stunning! And an assortment of candle holders and lanterns make me swoon so I would include all of these:

This cute little candle holder you could hang from tree branches or trellis beams creating a very magical ambiance. You can find these at Ikea for only 12.99!

I told you about my lust for outside curtains, right? Well I found some at West Elm (pictured above) and also at Pottery Barn. They are weather-resistant and easy to clean---an easy way to enhance your outdoor space.

Lastly, in order to add charm to your space and allow greater use of it through the seasons, outdoor firepits are a must!

I am in love with the idea of 'outside rooms'. Added spaces to your home that mix the beauty of nature with the comforts of the indoors. Each one is unique and you can't go too wrong! Here are a few that I spotted:

1. I am loving the coffered ceiling and there is something about those outside drapes that capture me every time!
