I'm just blushing so hard because Simply Elegant received an award!!

I am completely new at this (and not to mention a little light headed from the giddyness) so I hope that I am correct in my understanding of the next step. This is an inspiration to me. The following two pictures are of real rooms in a real house of a real person---blogger Lily-g! It just shows that real people (not just magazines and hollywood) can create beautiful homes! Lily-g, keep up the great work! When I grow up, I want to be just like you ;)

100% Cottam

I just wanted to alert all those who don't know about the blog 100% Cottam. It is run by the very talented Natalie and it is so down to earth and real. She is a mother of two (soon to be three, congrats Natalie!!) and just tells things as they are. She has an eye for the creative and always has good finds. Check her blog out here!

If you haven't already become privy to her site, you simply must go over to http://www.nicolehill.blogspot.com/. Nicole's blog is called A Little Sussy and it is fantastic! She includes fun finds and the like but the real icing on the cake, the thing that will keep you coming back for more is her photography. It is beautiful. She captures her subjects and let's you see pretty glimpses of time and people through her lens. Brava, Nicole! Make sure you check out her blog. It is well worth your time!

Beautiful, lovely, KenzieKate!

Introducing (to those of you who haven't heard of her) the work of Mackenzie Sala from KenzieKate Invitations! Her work is exquisite! It is classy and rich but also very current with our generation. I looked through her invitation website (http://www.kenziekate.com/) and picked out some of my favorites. Her website is very pretty and very easy to navigate through. Definately check it out! She also has a wonderful blog at http://kenziekate.blogspot.com/.


The first few that I picked out were (color-wise) more oriented with my sister's wedding in mind. On her website, kenziekate allows you a plethura of color combinations for each collection. Stunning.
Both of these are so sweet and fun. They evoke a whimsical summer wedding in my mind.
